Earth Week 2010

Events included  Harvest masses, walks, blessing of animals, getting to know the night sky, planting of bulbs & trees…..see below what some parishes did!

Background
‘Kerry Earth Day’ – an initiative of the Kerry Diocesan Justice, Peace & Creation Committee was  held annually from 1999-2009 in different venues: Tralee, Béal, Gortbrack, Miltown, Killarney & Lyreacrompane
In 2010,  its 11th Anniversary, it became a week- long celebration with parishes now hosting their own events.
