The role of the Diocesan Advisors is to:

Support the teachers in making faith a living reality in the school.  Provide resources and guidance, where possible, with the Alive O Programme, First Holy Communion and Confirmation, Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter etc.

Encourage reflective practice on the part of the principals/teachers/chaplains so that there is a strategic approach to the provision of a quality Catholic Ethos.

Support parents, teachers and parish personnel in their mutual responsibility for the faith development of the children.  

Encourage partnership between home, school and parish in the preparation of the children for the sacraments.

Be the Patron’s link with the school.
