The annual Pilgrimage Walk, with prayers, reflections and Meditations, from The Lake Hotel through the National Park to Muckross Abbey, where Cemetery Mass takes place on July 7th 2025 at 7.30pm.
The Monastery was built by St Fionan in the 6th Century. The ruins of the Franciscan Friary can be visited, and are in good state of preservation with the walls of the cloister and its associated buildings in their original and complete state.
