The community in Fenit have an annual festival around St Brendan’s feast day. This year for the weekend 15 – 18th 2025 they are happy to have involvement from the Pastoral Area in some of their events with an emphasis on Pilgrimage.
The name of the Pilgrimage is The Navigator’s Festival honouring St Brendan during this jubilee year.
The location for starting is St Brendan’s Heritage Park, Fenit Without, Fenit. Eircode: V92XKW8.
This site is the starting point for Slí Bhreannain and for various other events over the festival weekend in May. Over the weekend the pilgrimage route will visit many of the sites associated with the life and voyage of St Brendan .
