Prayer

Praying with your children is a precious way to nurture their faith and remind them that God is always close. Prayer can be as simple as an informal chat with God, or we can use familiar prayers such as the Our Father and Hail Mary. There is power in prayer: it helps children share their joys and hand their worries over to the Lord, especially when times are tough. Teaching them to pray gives them a valuable source of comfort, strength and hope that will stand to them as they grow into young adults and find their way in the world.
