During these three hours, Father Séamus O’Connell will present fresh pathways towards hearing and meeting the challenges posed by some of this year’s Lenten Sunday gospels; in particular, the Temptation of Christ in the Desert (Matt 4:1–11), the Woman at the Well (John 4:5–42), and the Man Born Blind (John 9:1–41). Saturday 29th February
The morning is for people of faith, and people in search of faith, for anyone who would long for “the Word of God … and the inexhaustible riches which flow from the constant dialogue between God and his people” (Pope Francis, Misericordia et Misera, 7).
You are warmly invited to this morning with Fr Seamus, Professor of Sacred Scripture, Maynooth, and Kerry in St. Brendan’s Pastoral Centre, Upper Rock Street, Tralee (10am -1pm). Registration at 10am, starting at 10.15am sharp. Suggested offering of €5. Organised by the St. Brendan’s Parish weekly Lectio Divina group.
