Easter Sunday
Jesus didn’t come to transform how people practised their religion; he came to transform how people lived together. This new way of living together he called “the Kingdom, Reign, of God”. His god wanted all God’s children to live free from hunger, misery and exclusion; he came that all might have life and have it to its fullness.

Action: Pray that we allow ourselves to be transformed by the Word of God, the Gospel of Salvation so that it can guide us to be people of generosity and hospitality in our parishes, our towns and our world.

Trocaire
Working for a Just World

Trocaire works in partnership with families and communities all over the developing world, helping people to help themselves. Their projects are long term, designed in consultation with the local community, enabling people to earn a living and build a brighter future for themselves. During the Lenten season, this situation in Uganda, which Trocaire highlighted, is that of a community emerging from the ruins of war and injustice. “ The offering of our lives, our fellowship with the whole community and our solidarity are essential aspects of the spiritual worship, holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1) which transforms every aspect of our human existence, to the glory of God.” Through your generous donation to Trocaire this mission continues.
