As Catholic Schools Week begins just to mention two projects that have made a strong impression in their parishes and in their school communitiy. A Chat a Day keeps Isolation at Bay is a project linking up with elderly in the Castleisland area. Here are some of the young people involved: Andrea Murphy, Orla O Connor and Molly Callaghan, Jack Daly, Paddy Flynn and James Brosnan.
In the Presentation Convent Listowel there are a group of young women tackling poverty in Bosnia. This group are telling about their project on Horizons Sunday morning at 9. The Presentation Convent is also presenting Just a Thought for the coming week. Just a few of the projects happening all over the diocese at this time in secondary schools.
