Young people from 18 years upwards have an opportunity to go to World Youth Day in Krakow with the diocese. World Youth Day is launched this weekend in the Diocese of Kerry.

World Youth Day is an International Youth Festival which will be held in Krakow, Poland from July 25th to Monday, August 1st. The theme for World Youth Day 2016 is ‘Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy’ (Mt 5:7).
The program includes several days of celebration with Pope Francis, liturgies, concerts, and workshops. The event culminates in an all-night vigil and Mass with Pope Francis. Participants will have an opportunity to meet and interact with young people from all over the world.
The Diocese of Kerry is presently recruiting a group of young adults (18 – 35 years) who will participate in the event. They will travel to Krakow on Monday, 25th July 2016 and return on Monday, 1st August 2016. While in Krakow they will stay at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
