Saturday the 5th of December sees the beatification of the Chimbote Martyrs three priests murdered in Peru in 1991 by a communist group known as Sendero Luminoso. Fr John Ahern a Kerry priest who has retired back to Firies has travelled to Peru for the beatification ceremony. He will be telling the story on the upcoming Horizons programmes.
