Ceiliuradh na nOg Youth Celebration Day

Students in post-primary schools are very busy at the moment working on school-parish links. Over 350 students have registered to participate in Ceiliúradh na nÓg this year. The working theme is ‘Called Together – Making the Difference’. Students have become involved in parish life by becoming Ministers of the Word, Ministers of the Eucharist, Altar Servers. While other students involved have worked on display boards and posters to highlight the liturgical seasons and organised Carol Services. A lot of fundraising and awareness campaigns have focused on Haiti; other groups supported the work of the local charity groups, for example, St. Vincent de Paul.

Groups are busy now gathering their thoughts and photos, which they will present at the Ceiliúradh na nÓg Celebration Day. This will be held on Thursday March 25th in the Brandon Hotel, Tralee, from 10am to 3pm.
